No matter your age, skill level, and familiarity with the cello, Helena invites all those interested to learn the instrument that captured her heart. 

 

Young students will learn the fundamentals of the cello and learn how to become a confident performer. They will be encouraged to showcase their hard work by performing at the North Island Festival of Performing Arts and prepare for the Royal Conservatory exams if desired.

 

For her adult students, she encourages them to join the Strathcona Symphony Orchestra in Courtenay or the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra to help them further enjoy music.

 

All students are invited to her biennial student concerts where all proceeds are donated to local community or charities.

 

Her past students have entered the Seoul Arts High School in Korea, the University of Victoira, and McGill University. 

  

Helena's home studio is located in Courtenay, BC.
